The Tobacco Factory of Chiaravalle (AN) was founded in 1759 by Cistercian monks for the development of tobacco growing in the Papal State and, subsequently, for the production of tobaccos processed for the Kingdom of Italy and the State Monopolies. Italian Tobacco Manufacturing has inherited the attention, quality and care of the workmanship that represents the best expression of the history of tobacco in Italy.
